■♦; : [BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS association.] Christch-drch, Saturday. A man named Joseph Brown was committed for' trial to-day on a charge of stabbing Walter J. Rae, licensee of the Railway Hotel, on May 3. Rae. was stabbed on the chin, and received a cut on the web »f the thumb 2Ain long.
