John Ojrlktt was brought before Mr. Justice Cooper to-day for sentence, having pleaded guilty in the lower Court to stealing a pound note from a letter in the General Post Office. His Honor said 1 that offences of this character were so inimical to the public welfare that, it was impossible to treat offenders in the ordinary way or admit them to probation. Ourlett was sentenced to three months' 'imprisonment.
