THE "ALL BLACKS."
PROFITS OF THE TOUR. [BY TELEGRAPH.'—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Wellington, Tuesday. The following are the details of the profits made by the "All Blacks" since their selection in the early part of last year: — Matches in New Zealand, £501; Sydney, £553; United Kingdom. France and America, £8908. The total receipts outside of New Zealand and Australia were £14,971, and the expenditure £6063. The match North v. .South Island prior to the team leaving for England resulted in a profit of £61. The New Zealand Union has now a sum of £12,000 on fixed deposit, and the value of its assets exceed' liabilities by £12,026- As evidence of the growth of the union it is mentioned in the report that during the past, few years the number of committee meetings increased from six in 1900 to 29 in 1905, the latter constituting a record. The committee regret that the number of disqualifications shows no sign of diminishing. Mr. (i. Dixon, manager of the New Zealaud team, in his report, recommends , that in any future tour not more than 25 matches be played, that the number of men be restricted to not more than 27, that, the internationals be played in the early part of the tour, and that the men should' have at least a week's spell before each international.
