MAYORAL ELECTIONS.

ONLY TWO CONTESTS. There wi'.l be only two contests for the Mayoralty this year, Auckland City anc Onehunga. For the former, the present Mayor (Mr. A. M. Myers) has again beer nominated, and Mr. A. P. Bradly is oppos ing him. It may be regarded as a foregone conclusion, but- electors should not allow that fact to stand in the way of their recording their votes. The polling p.aces wit be: —The New Zealand Express Company's Building, Court Lane, off Chancery-street; Choral Hall, Federal Club Rooms, St, James' Hall, St. David's Hall, Foresters Hall, Khyber Pass Road, and New Churcl ' Hall, Pompallier Ten-ace, Ponsonby. Polling will commence at nine o'clock, and con elude at seven o'clock. ► Two candidates are standing for the Onehunga Mayoralty, Messrs. A. Gordon (pre sent Mayor) and J. Rowe, who was unsuc cessful at the last election.
