ADVANCE IN PRICES.

InvkecakgilLj, Thursday. The third of the local wool sales of the season was held to-night. The usual buyers were present, and bidding was keen throughout. Close on 4000 baits were offered. The prices were the best given this year, being from id to id above, last sale's rates, which wore -id above the first sal© of the season. Ihe advance was most marked in fine wools, but all classes participated in the enhancement to a greater or less extent. The staple was not so good as at the previous .sale, and taking that into account prices were about id higher all round. Super halfbred, 12£ d (top, price) to lljd ; first crossbred, 12d; strong, to lid; merino, lid.
