BANKRUPTCY COURT.
DISCHARGES GRANTED.
His Hoxor Mr. Justice Edwards presided ovei a sitting of the Bankruptcy Court yes terday. Discharges were granted to the o - lowing bankrupts:—R. Salmon (Mr. Hanna), Robert Elliott Bell (Mr. Burton), and John Grant (Mr. Burton). No objection was raised by the official assignee (Mr. Gerard). In the case of Frank Stow Murrell Scon, an application for discharge. Mr. Gerard raised an objection, and His Honor pointed out that the deficiency had been £37 5s 7d, though the debts proved had only amounted to £12 15s. It. Ma.-, a bad example for a man in regular employment to run into debt with butchers and bakers, and wipe it off by coming into Court. The discharge would be granted only on the bankrupt paying 10s a week for 24 weeks?.
Mr. Clayton, on behalf of Augustus Lipsey, applied for the annulment of adjudication of bankruptcy. He stated that sufficient money had been handed to the official assignee to pay every creditor and also the expenses. Mr. Gerard did not oppose the application, which was granted.
