man shoots HIMSELF WITH
A PEA RIFLE.
An- inquest on the body of Arthur Crawshaw, who was found dead in his house at Oio, on .Sunday last, was held at Taumarunui on Monday evening, before Mr. Alexander Bell, J.P., acting-coroner. The following verdict was returned: "Deceased, Arthur Crawshaw, met with his death at Oio on February 4, by a gunshot wound self-inflicted with a pea-rifle, whilst temporarily insane. The tragedy caused quite a shock to his friends, amongst whom he was very popular. Deceased was for nine months in the employ of the Auckland Electric Tramways Company as a conductor.
