WHANGABEI, Tuesday. At the monthly meeting of the Whangarei Borough Council last night tenders for the following works were accepted: Footpath in Bank-street, D. and T. .Sands, £25 18s; fire brigade uniforms, Hallonstoin Brothers, coats and caps, £2 Is 6d, trousers, 15s.
