London, February 6. The Massey-Harris Company has supplied the Times with its version of the dispute with the Australian Customs Department as to values for duty of agricultural machinery.
The president, the letter says, lias sent to Australia a strongly-worded affidavit to the effect that the Mas-sey-Harris Company is not connected with the International Harvester Company, and denying that there is a combination of the manufacturers and the American railway companies to deceive the Australian Customs authorities.
