[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION' ] DnxEDijf, Tuesday. At the nomination of candidates for the Harbour Board, the retiring members wore elected, except in the cases of Mr. W. Dawson, who did not stand, and was replaced by Mr. C. W. Rattray, and the Hon. H. Gourley, the chairman, to oppose whom ilie Ratepayers' Association have nominated Mr. James Small. Napier, Tuesday. The Hawke's Bay Cricket Association has decided to send a team to play matches against Wellington and Wairarapa about the middle of next month. Christchcbch, Tuesday. At the Magistrate's Court this morning Stanley Smith was fined £10, in default six months' imprisonment, for using obscene, language in St. Asaph-street. William T. Dawson, alleged to be a chemist, was charged with keeping his shop open after the prescribed hours. He claimed that he was a herbalist, and, therefore, exempt. Judgment was reserved.
