THE SEAMEN'S DISPUTE.

Dcxedix, Tuesday. I.v the Arbitration Court to-day, in the seamen's dispute, Mr. W. Belcher, secretary of the union, continued his address, and had not concluded when the Court rose for the day. Tie reviewed the evidence, and contended that the hours were too long, that the men were entitled to the privileges asked, for, and to an increase in wages. In the course of his remarks Mr. Belcher said, from information he had received from Australia, he judged that before long there would be a, move among the seamen not only to get an increase in wages, but to secure an improvement in the conditions of work.
