BOURNE CRICKETERS.

Chbistchukch, Monday. Mr. F. ('. Raphael, secretary to the New Zealand Cricket Council, has received information from Sir Joseph Ward that the Melbourne Cricket Club team will be allowed return railway fares at. single rates; also that excursion fares will lie allowed to enable country residents to visit the various centres where matches are to be played.
The Melbourne cricketers, who arrived from Australia on Sunday, left for Rotorna yesterday morning. They will have two clear days sightseeing there, and return on Thursday. The match against, an Auckland eleven commences on Friday.
