OPERA HOUSE. Last night Czerny completed Ins first week at the Opera House, and had another good reception from a large audience. This afternoon there will be a special matinee, to which children will be admitted at halfprice. To-night and Monday night, the two last nights of his season, Czerny will present holiday programmes, into which he will introduce many new features. •THE DAPvLING OF THE GODS. r In Mr. J. C. Williamson"* production of "The Darling of the Gods" the mounting and dressing are described as most lavish in their magnificence and beauty. -Japanese plays have been remarkable for their popularity, and "The Darling of the Gods" has been a great success in England and America when first produced, and throughout Australasia. There has been excellent booking since the plans were opened on Thursday, and the interest which has been aroused in the production of the play by Miss Maud Jeffries, Mr. Julius Knight, and the company on Monday evening next and few following nights, 'augurs well for crowded houses.
