MAORI GIRLS AS NURSES.

Christchurch, Wednesday. A special committee reported to the Hospital Beard to-day that the question of training Maori girls to become nurses had been considered, but the. committee could not see its way to recommend the adoption of the Education Department's proposal owing to want of accommodation, which was too limited for the present nursing •siati'.
