The president of the Otago Rugby Union telegraphed to the New Zealand Rugby Union to-day stating that the committee consider it highly desirable that the New* Zealand fixtures at Glasgow and Limerick be cancelled in view of the international ""matches on the following Saturdays. There ' is a strong feeling here that it would be unwise to imperil the chances of success against Ireland and England by mid-week engagements with heavy travelling.
