A very enjoyable concert was given in the diningroom of the Costley Home last even- ] in" by Mr. Morris mid party, numbering 27 j in all. Mr. G. .7. Garland occupied the j chair, and most of llie inmate? of the homo ! were present. During an interval refreshments were handed round, and at the conclusion of the concert Mr. Garland tendered the thanks of the inmates to the- performers. Hall; "Goodbye, Sweetheart," by Mr. Scott; Elsie of the Glen," by Mr. A. Donney; a Japanese song, by Mr. Agafura ; coon sons', by Master M.' Charlton ; Irish song, "The Black Purs," by Mr. \V. K. Jones; and plantation songs, "The Ola Banjo "and "Good-night," by the company; selections, "Sea Song" aiid "Woodland Whispers," by the orchestra; recitations by Miss Morton and Miss liibburt; a comet solo, "The Better Laud," by Mr. Morris; and a whistling duct- by » Messrs.
