MR. BENT AND PENSIONERS.
MUST .RESIDE IN VICTORIA. By Telegraph.—Press Association—Copyright. (Received August 25, 11.22 p.m.) London, August 25. The London .Daily Telegraph says the Australian officials in London arc perturbed because the Premier of Victoria (Mr. Bent) has agreed to support a private Bill to compel the recipients of pensions to reside in Victoria. It is feared, if the Bill passes, that other States will follow Victoria's example.
