ASSESSMENT COURT.

The Assessment Court, consisting of Messrs. H. W. Northeroft, S.M., 11. Hadfield, and W. North, sat at Cambridge on Friday last, when objections to the Government valuations were considered. Mr. A. .1. McGowan, supervising valuer for the Auckland province, and Mr. G. W. Hyde, district valuer, were in attendance, in support of the valuations.

Cambridge Borough : Mary T. Murphy, £2679; sustained. Maekay and Caldwell, Auckland, £785; reduced by valuer to £745. .Julia Lewis, £547; sustained (Mr. F. J. Brooks appeared in support of the objection). Ether Keesiug, £1510; reduced by valuer to £1000. .lames Hally, £70, sections 493-494; reduced by valuer to £60. C. 11. Troadgold, £200; sustained, a .slight adjustment being made on the unimproved value and improvements. Mary Begg, £215; sustained. Frank A. Marcroft, £770; sustained.
