ENTERTAINMENTS.

OPKKA HOUSE. ".Tub Fack at tub Window' attracted another huge audience on Saturday evening, when the piece was presented for the last tone. This evening Mr. Anderson will present another new melodrama, entitled •"The Best Must Win," a play which is said to contain all the elements of success. It is stated to be brimful of comedy, full of sensations and realistic incidents, while the dialogue is both bright and vivacious. Special scenery has been painted by Mr. Itsge-Robins, anil the production will be mounted on Mr. Anderson's usual scale of completeness. ONEHUNGA TOWN BAND. The Ouehunaa Town Laud, under Bandmaster Eugene Hulse, rendered the following programme in front of the Onehuuga kiosk yesterday afternoon:— "Our First;" wait/, "Youth and Beauty;" selection, "Asleep in the Deep;" march, "Oxford;" waltz, "Happy Days We Have Passed Together;" march, "Sabbath Mom;" selection, "11 Trovatore;" schottische, "Queen of My Heart." There was a large attendance of local people and visitors, and the young band came in for much favourable comment. Mr. Dulse was congratulated on the progress marie by his men. SALE OF WORK. The sale of work in connection with the Young Women's Christian Association was well patronised on Saturday afternoon and evening, and on both occasions the business done was satisfactory. Tho committee have decided to continue the sale of work this afternoon and owning, in order to dispose of the goods, which have been reduced in price.
