H. It. Boss and W. 11. Mercer have readied the final for the singles championship on the. Mount Kden green, and will probably play off for the coveted honour during the coming week.

The semi-final for the Rocky Nook green singles championship was played off on Wed-no-day last, when G. Cutler defeated Putter, leaving the final to be fought out between the winner and McDougall. who had been waiting for some week*. Culler and Mi - Dougall thou played the first of three games to''decide the club liampionship, and after I icing on the last head (19 all), they played off an additional head. McDougall succeeded in adding two points to the score, thus win-" ning the first game by 21 points to 19. Both played fine games, McDougall being responsible for several telling running shot*. The following .am will represent the Carlton Club in an intcrcltib match against Devonport, at Devonport, this afternoon:—Brown.
