THE JURY DISAGREE.

New York, May 4. " Nax" Patterson' has been again tried on a charge of murder. The jury failed to agree.
Nan Patterson, an adventurers, is charged with the murder of a well-known New York business man. The pair had had an intrigue, ami the man'tt wife, discovering it, induced her husband to go -with her to Europe, in order that he- might break with Miss Patterson. On the day that the steamer hac" to sail, Nan Patterson called upon the man as he was taking; a cab to the docks, and entered a cab with him. While on the way a shot.was heard by the cabman, who found the man dead, and Nan Patterson assisting .him.* The defence is that (he man tired the shot. This is the second trial.
