New York, May 4. " Nax" Patterson' has been again tried on a charge of murder. The jury failed to agree.

Nan Patterson, an adventurers, is charged with the murder of a well-known New York business man. The pair had had an intrigue, ami the man'tt wife, discovering it, induced her husband to go -with her to Europe, in order that he- might break with Miss Patterson. On the day that the steamer hac" to sail, Nan Patterson called upon the man as he was taking; a cab to the docks, and entered a cab with him.
