PAEROA-WAIHI RAILWAY.
[BT TELEGRAPH. —OWN" CORRESPONDENT.] Waihi, Friday. Tile Public Works Department are continning to make excellent progress with the railway extension works, the rails and sleepers having been laid through the Waikino station yards to a point as far as the Waitekauri Stream, where carpenters are engaged constructing the bridge. It is believed that the ballast engine will be running into Waihi toy the end of August.
