PRICE OF BREEDING EWES.

CiiRiSTOHCRCir, Thursday. There has been a slight drop in the price of breeding ewes in .South Canterbury, though this class of sheep is still selling well, two-tooths bringing up to 25s 6d. The drop is attributed to tho extensive importation of sheep from the North Island and the Chatham Islands, which has been going on for some time past.
