DOCTORS EXPLAIN.
THE CHRISTCHURCH HOSPITAL TROUBLE. [BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CußisTCHtßca, Wednesday. The Hospital Board to-day reconsidered the allegation of neglect against Dr. Crooks (house surgeon), and Dr. LivOsey (assistant), for which the former was previously reprimanded and the latter asked to resign. After hearing the explanations of the doctor* to the effect that there was neglect of the. case in question, but it was not serious, the Board decided to allow Dr. Livesey to withdraw his resignation, Notice was given to rescind the resolution reprimanding Dr. Crooke and asking for Dr. Livesey's resignation.
