ARBITRATION COURT.

At the sitting of the Arbitration Court this evening the Christchuroh Meat Company (Smithfield) was charged with committing two breaches of the award to the Tanners' and Fellmongers* Union—(l) Employing SO felblongets on Saturday afternoons without P&ying overtime; (2) paying 50 fellmongers tei« than the award wages of lQid per hour, the wages paid being 74 d and 9d. The first complaint was dismissed, as the fellmongers were not included in the award so far as hours were concerned. The second charge was admitted, but extenuating circumstances were pleaded.
