TE PUKE GOLD REEFS CO. A visit is at present being paid to the fr Puke Gold Reefs Company's mine by Mr H. E. Partridge, one of the directors. for' '-■: Partridge went down in order to investigate the report that rich gold exists in the mine'SP and to inaugurate the necessary prospecting work. No work has been done by the > company on the property since the last, option-holders relinqmished their. option, about three months ago, but the mine is now in the company's hands. They have in • unencumbered property of 1080 acres, freehold, and about £400 in hand, whilst there is a sum of £1500 to be called up. - Our Waihi correspondent telegraphs as follows: Active mining operations are to be resumed on the Te Puke Gold Reefs Company's property at Te Puke. Yesterday Mr. H. E. Partridge proceeded to the mine . \ taking with him several miners, who will be - under the management of Mr. R. Worth.
