St. Petersburg, April 20. The victim of the explosion at the Hotel Nord, at St. Petersburg, has not yet been identified. He possessed a forged passport. The police are convinced from the documents seized that the bombs were intended to be used against Ministers attending the welcome to be given to the survivors of the warships Varyag and Coreetz, sunk at Chemulpho; also at the unveiling of the monument of Alexander 111. at Moscow, in the presence of the Tsar. |
Three hundred girls have been excluded from the high schools at St. Petersburg for taking part in seditious demonstrations.
