Paris, April 12. Captain Lenfant, accompanied by a, small party, met with thrilling experiences in traversing the Central African districts. The people were savages, and the party had to make their way through almost impenetrable vegetation. They discovered a maze of cataracts along the waterway.- connecting the basin of the Shari and Benne rivers. They traversed wonderfully rich cotton, rub-ber-growing, and pastoral country.
