[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COB RESPONDENT.] I 'll in ST v; if, Tuesday. It has been found nenesmiry to lift the propeller of.the Terra Nova, as on examination one of the after bearings of the propeller shaft was discovered to be considerably worn. 'The work of lifting the heavy twobladed propeller was carried out to-day by the members of the crew, under the supervision of the engineers. Two bluejackets from IT.M.S. Taurangr were engaged on board in doing general smithy work, overhauling winches and pumps, etc. A n«vv timber has been put in the bow on the starboard side of the vessel, to replace the one which was removed on account of a slight leakage in that place.
