-o A SHARP ENCOUNTER. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received April 11, 11.7 p.m.) London, April 11. Major Mac Donald's force, escorting Colonel Younghusband, has arrived at Halu. The Tibetans withdrew to a position eight miles north of Kangma. (Received April 19, 13.59 a.m.) London, April 11. After a sharp encounter with a few mounted troops the Tibetans abandoned their position south of Kangma, winch could only otherwise have been taken by a frontal attack. The position consisted of a h'eavy stonewall crossing the valley and connected by 17 sangars stretching eastwards up the hills.
lb is reported that 3000 are occupying a post five miles south of Gyangtse.
