LAUNCH OF THE ELSIE.
Messes. Bailey : and Lowe launched from their yards, Custom-street, West, yesterday morning, the ketch Elsie, which they have built to the order of the Maanfcau Steam Navigation Company. The launch was most successful, the vessel going off the ways and into the water without-a aiteh. After the* \- launch the ketch went for a trial spin under .. her engines, and acquitted herself very creditably. The Elsie leaves for OHehunga. at the *nd of his week to take up her running in the Manukau harbour trade.
