The whole of the passenger accommodation on the steamer Essex for South Africa has been taken up, and passages by the Cornwall, which will be the next vessel of the same line, have been booked by a number of people. The Essex is unable to take all the cargo offering. Amongst other lines she will have several thousand tons of grain, principally from Tim am, 3000 sheep, and a large quantity of frozen meat.
