OTAGO RUGBY UNION.
[BY TELEGBAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, Monday. At a meeting of the Rugby 1 Union Committee t-o-night it was decided to reply to the Canterbury Union that the Ota,go Union would prefer to play this season's match after the return of the team from Australia. It was resolved to approach Canterbury with a view to the inauguration of interprovincial school matches. Evidently the committee was not able to agree as to the sole selector, and a special meeting is called to consider the question of appointing three selectors .
