SUPPLIES FOR THE ARMY.
By Telegraph-—Press Association.—Copyright, London, April 7. In the House of Commons Sir Gilbert Parker urged the inclusion of Canadian-bred cattle in the meat contracts for the army. Mr. Balfour replied that the arrangements whereunder Home-bred beef exclusively was accepted for.the army by Great Britain could only be disturbed to the detriment of Home produce.
