IMPORTANT PATENT CASE.
[r!T TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Tuesday. In the Supreme Court to-day an action was commenced in which the Free Wheel Company, Limited, and J. arid H. M. Copeland, the owners of the patent right, sued Inglis Bros., cycle dealers, for alleged infringement of patent. The case is said to be one of general importance to cycle dealers. The defence claims that the patent in question— lock and bolt in conjunction with a free wheel—had been in use long before Copeland took out his patent.
