A DANGEROUS ACT.
' [BY telegraph.— association.] Palmerston North,, Monday. In tie S.M. Court to-day a boy, eight years old, pleaded guilty to discharging a pearifle at a passing train. The bullet entered 'a carriage window, and inflicted a painful wound on the hand of a passenger. Accused was severely admonished by the Court, and ordered to come up for sentence when called.
