ARREST OF A SOLICITOR.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PKESS ASSOCIATION.] ChmstchurcHj, Monday. Aarat-R Holmes, alias Holt, who was arrested at Sumner on Saturday, charged with being concerned as an agent with fraud at Bradford, England, was to-day remanded for seven days on the application of the police, bail being allowed. Holmes, who is an English solicitor, admits his identity. The New Zealand police are ignorant of the particulars of the case.
