DEVELOPING IRISH TRADE.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received April 5, 4.50 p.m.) London, April 3. Lord Iveagh and Sir W. Pirie have announced that they are prepared to advance to a company formed for the purpose of providing transit facilities for goods and produce in certain test districts in Ireland a sum of half-a-million, to be expended in the establishment of central depots for the purchase of produce direct. Motorcars and other means of transport will be utilised to find markets for produce. It is intended to devote the entire profit to develop Ireland.
