THAMES HIGH SCHOOL.
[by telegraph.—-own CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Thursday. At a special meeting of the Thames High School Board, held this afternoon, it was notified that Mr. John Kinder, of Gisborne, whose application for the post of assistant master to the school had been accepted, was unable to take up the appointment through having taken up an engagement in the Gisborne District High School. The Board therefore decided to offer the vacant position to Mr. R. J. Thompson, at present assistant master of the Waitaki High School.
