NATIVE LAND COURT.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COBRESPONDENT.] Paeroa, Wednesday. • The Native Land Court has concluded its sittings at Paeroa, and during the few weeks it sat here over 200 cases were disposed of. The business consisted principally of succession orders, and two new blocks were passed through. Before the business of the Court concluded Mr. James Mackay, who appeared in a number of cases for o rtain Maoris, paid a tribute to Judge Edger, and spoke of the great patience he exercised with the natives, and at the same time of the expedition displayed in transacting the 'business of the Court. Judge Bdger suitably acknowledged the eulogistic remarks made by Mr. Mackay.
