Regulations fot Examination of Returned Members of Contingents: — (A) BONA-FIDE invalids are those who Dave been invalided from South Africa, awl who can, produce documentary- evidence to this effect, or who have been pronounced fit subjects for an Invaliding* Board by the Medical Officer in charge, of the returning ship, or a certificate from a Medical Officer in South Africa. (B) A Member of any Contingent within six months of his landing in New Zealand can pro to any medical man to be examined, and pay for such. Proceedings to be forwarded without delay through Officer Commanding District. (I) Either Medical Boards, Government Medical Officers, or Volunteer Medical Staff Officers, may recommend Returned Troopers for treatment at Government Sanatoriums at either Hanmer or Rotorua. When it is consistent with the state of health of the man. Rotorua should be recommended for men residing in the North Island, and Hanmer for the men residing in the South Island.
