The annual public meeting in connection with the rescue and social operations of the Salvation Array will be hold in the Newton Barracks, Ponsonby Road, on Tuesday evening next. The chairman (Mr. J. H. Witheford, M.H.R.) will address the meeting, as will also the Rev. W. Ready, the Rev. W. Potter, Mrs. Brigadier Glover, and others.
