ESTATE OF SIR J. McKENZIE.
[BY TELEGRAPH, —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DI'NEDIN, Wednesday. In the case, 'cKenzie and others (executors of the estate of the late Sir John McKenzie) v. Eraser McKenzie, of Wellington, claim £60, money paid at the request of the defendant, and money lent, the Magistrate said the evidence showed that Sir John had made himself personally liable for the defendant's passage money from Home (£-12), which was the largest item in the claim! There was no foundation for the statement that the passage was paid for by the Government.
