Gore and Stewart, husband's petition; Wallace v. Wallace, husband's petition ; and Adam v. Adam and Lissen, also husband's petition, there being no appearance in this case for respondent or co-respon-dent. Blenheim, Thursday. A young man named John Ledsham, with a foreign accent, was sentenced to-day to one month's bard labour for theft of moneys from his employer, a storekeeper, at Havelock. He appropriated j314 in different suras paid to him by his employer's customers. Accused recently came out from England, where he has a wife, and was employed in Wellington. He pleaded that he had given way to the temptations of drink and gambling at Havelock. Nelson, Thursday. At a meeting of College old boys, ib was decided to revive the Old Boys' Association, and form a cycle corps in connection therewith. Tho Rev. W. J. Williams, the new Methodist pastor, was welcomed at a social last evening.
