MISCELLANEOUS PICTURES. The ', present number of the Auckland Weekly News is highly' , attractive. The series of illustrations depicting the Wanganui River have never before been equalled. The Weekly News' special photographer spent considerable time on this famous tourist route, and secured a number of views which will be . greatly appreciated by the public both here and abroad. They are attractive, not only on account of their pictuxesqueness, but also on account of their expression of native life. Another series of pictures which will * appeal to the publio are the ■-. groups representing some of the sections forming ■ the •', South Island portion, of the Eighth New Zealand Contingent.
