ANNIVERSARY REGATTA.
A geneeal meeting of the committee of the Auckland Anniversary Regatta was held ;at the Waitemata Hotel last night. There was a full attendance, arid Mr. W. C. Somers presided. After transacting some general business, it was decided to place a race for nian-o'-war cutters on the programme. Owing to their being some misunderstanding on the part of a number of the competitors it was decided to extend the time of receiving entries for all events on the programme until between eight and ton p.m. to-morrow. The following entries were received last night: — Scow Race: Pearl. Open Handicap Yacht Race: Ida, Kotiri, Moana, Rarere, Halcyon, Ladyo Wilma, Thetis. Fishing Boats (handicap): Kestrel, Cooee. Allcomers Cruisers' Handicap: Mabel, Waiwiri, Irish Lily, Corinna, Peri, Huia. Half-decked Centreboard Yachts (26ft overall and under): Kotiri. Yachts, 25ft linear rating: Speedwell, Matua, Miro. ' .- Fishing- Boats, centreboard, tuck stern (handicap): Zealandia, Spray, Masootte.
