CRICKET MATCH AT WANGANUI. [BY telegraph.—press association.] Wanganui, Wednesday. A cricket match, Wanganui v. Manawatu, commenced to-day. ~ Wanganui, in their first innings, compiled 73—Francis 13, Luxford 18, H. B. Cave (not out) 16, and Carrad 19. Manawatu , replied with 78— Gredingham 28, Fanning ,15, Eyre (not out) 15. Wanganui in their second innings made 95— H. B. Cave (not out) 54, _ Francis .16. Manawatu, wanting 90 to win, had lost five wickets for 59 when stumps were drawn.
