THE AOTEA. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company s : steamer Aotea, in continuation of her voyage from London, will leave for Wellington this; morning. The Shaw, Savill. and Albion Company s steamer Delphic will be floated out 01 a l" liope Dock early to-morrow morning, alter cleaning ; and painting. The steamer will be berthed at the Railway Wharf to load frozen meat and general cargo for London, and; is; expected to leave for Wellington on Tuesday next. . THE KUMARA. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company steamer Knmara is loading at London for Auckland and Wellington, and is expected to leave about the end. of this month. THE SAVERNAKE. The : barque Savernake, bound from San Francisco to Queenstown with a cargo of wheat has been wrecked at one of the islands in the Paumotu Group. Particulars of the casualty will bo found in another part of this issue. . THE COUNTESS OF RANFURLY. The Government steamer Countess of Ranfurly has sailed from Earotonga for Auckland with a cargo of Island produce, and may be expected to arrive at any moment. THE VIATE. . The Island schooner Viate-is now on her way from Rarotonga to this port with a cargo of Island produce, on discharge of which she will undergo a thorough«overhaul. THE CROIX DU SUD. . The steamer Croix du Sud, Captain J. Dawson, arrived at Mangaia from Auckland, at 4 p.m. on tho 12th inst., All well," after a fine weather passage. The steamer left the island the same afternoon for Papeete. THE TAIERI. The Union Company's steamer Taieri, Captain G. A. Lobb, arrived from Westport early yesterday morning, with a cargo of coal, berthing at the Railway Wharf to discharge. The steamer left Westport on Saturday morning last, passed Cape Maria Van Diemen on Monday morning, and arrived as above. Fine weather prevailed during the passage. The Taieri leaves for V. estport to-morrow evening. THE OVALAU. The Union Company's steamer Ovalau, Captain R. G. Hutton, arrived from the Eastern Pacific last evening, and after inspection by Dr. Sharman, the port health officer, and the Customs authorities, berthed at the Hob-son-street Wharf. The steamer, which brought a cargo of fruit and general Island produce, has made an excellent round trip, her passage from the island of Mangaia Having been accomplished in the smart time of 6 days 6\ hours. Mr. W. Taylor, the purser, reports:—Tho Ovalau left Auckland at 5 p.m. on the 31st ult. and arrived at Earotonga at 9 a.m. on the 7th inst.; left again at 3 p.m. the same date, and arrived at Papeete at 8 a.m. on the 10th; left again at 5 p.m. on tho 11th, for Rarotonga. arriving at 5 a.m. on the 14th; left again at 5 p.m. the same date for Mangaia, and left the latter port at 11 a.m. on the 15th, arriving at 6 p.m. yesterday.
