CUSTOMS REVENUE.
LARGE INCREASE. [fit TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Greyjiouth, Monday. The official returns of Customs revenue for December, 1901, amounted to £184,440, which, with the quarterly return through the Post Office of £6843," totals £191,283. For December, 1900, the total was £151,984. The toal Customs revenue for nine months of the current financial year is £1,619,724, yrhich is £37,224 over the estimate, and £15,807 more than that for the corresponding nine niinths of 1900.
