The schedule of business transacted by the House during the session shows that 28 Select Committees were set up; 131 public Hills were introduced, of which 97 received the Royal assent, two were reserved for the signification of the King's pleasure, and 92 were dropped or otherwise disposed of, and three private Bills received the Rovai assent; 1286 petitions were presented; 301 papers were laid on the table: 4-57 reports were received from Select Committees; and 783 questions were asked of Ministers. The House safe on 77 days, the daily average sitting being eight hours 14 minutes. The House sat 518 hours before midnight and 116 hours after midnight.
